Research Information

I am interested in exploring the fundamental physics of fluid flows, fluid-structure interactions, elastic instabilities, granular media and other nonlinear phenomena. I use laboratory experiments to explore and visualise physical processes, and develop complimentary theoretical models that enable identification of the underlying physical processes. The insight gained from these findings can then be applied in industrial, geophysical and biological settings.
