Introductory talk

An introductory talk will be given — aimed at graduate students and researchers from other fields, and intended to provide some background for the main talks.
Martin Bridson The Warm-Up

Practical information

— Talks will be held in Lecture Room L3 (except perhaps the morning one) at The Mathematical Institute (follow the link for directions).
— For lunch we suggest congregating in the common room at Institute for a sandwich hunt. There are a number of sandwich shops close at hand.
— Tea will be served in the common room between the first and second lectures.
— Dinner in a local restaurant will be arranged; all are welcome.
