Examples of superpixels of varying sizes. This is me!
All the superpixels here are generated using the SLIC superpixel algorithm. A superpixel is basically just that: a super-sized pixel, formed by "gluing" together neighbouring pixels and giving them the same colour. It's a handy way of reducing the resolution of your images while keeping as much information as possible.
