One of the most difficult aspects of R&D -- and one of the least discussed -- is how to develop a sensible idea in the first place. StoBifAn stands unique in its support for the principal computing environment for the next-generation computation concept -- and following the novel concept, it enables users to explore ideas with a personal laptop, but practically working as a super-computer.
StoBifAn aims to provide a free software package for simulating and analysing high-dimensional problems involved in the modelling of biological or medical problems. Compared to the traditional computations, the concept of StoBifAn is based on the separated, low-parametric, tensor-structured representation of traditional matrices and vectors. It allows many classic low-dimensional algorithms to work in high dimensions without suffering from the so-called curse of dimensionality. In such a way, computations in high dimensions performed in a fundamentally different topology that enables "shortcuts" for intensive simulations. Using StoBifAn, you can restructure big data, develop algorithms, and analyse models and applications. The language, tools, and build-in functions enables you to explore multiple approaches and research a solution faster than with traditional programming methods.
