Research Interests

ICMMES 2013 will be held in St Anne's College, Oxford, between 22nd-26th July. Please see the ICMMES website for futher information.

My primary research interests include the theory and application of the lattice Boltzmann equation (LBE), fluid mechanics and viscoelasticity. I am currently a research fellow at the Oxford Centre for Collaborative Applied Mathematics (OCCAM) investigating the extension of the LBE to complex (non-Newtonian) fluids .

I previously worked on the project "Lattice Boltzmann methods for multiphase flow in porous media with applications to CO2 sequestration" . under the supervision of Paul Dellar, and before that with Helen Wilson on Instabilities in polymer processing, which formed part of the Mupp project. My thesis was awarded by the Cardiff School of Mathematics, Cardiff University, where I studied under the supervision of Prof. Tim Phillips.
