Accommodation

Conference accommodation is in Merton College and rooms should be booked with registration. Rooms may also be booked by participants in other colleges. For those who prefer hotel accommodation, we list here a selection of options.

  • Eastgate Hotel: This is a hotel only a few steps away from Merton College as well as the closest bus stop for the Heathrow-Oxford Bus (Queen's Lane on High Street). Singles 135 and doubles 155 pounds per night.
  • Oxford University Club: Located close to the city center in a quiet road and within 10min walking distance, the club offers modern rooms. Singles 70, doubles 95 pounds per night.
  • Linton Lodge: This is a hotel on the Banbury Road often used by the Mathematical Institute for its visitors. It takes 5min on foot to the Mathematical Institute, 20min to Merton College. Singles 100 to 150 pounds per night.
  • Galaxy Hotel: This hotel is in Summertown and a 15min walk from the Mathematical Institute. There are many busses from the center of town and the Mathematical Institute to Summertown. Singles from 85 and doubles from 105 pounds per night.
  • St Michael's Guest House: This is in the center of town and a 10min walk to Merton College and the Mathematical Institute; the closest bus stop for the Heathrow-Oxford Bus (Gloucester Green) is just around the corner. Singles are 42 and doubles 56 pounds per night.
