Funding is available to support a DPhil (=PhD) student at Oxford
University and Exeter College for a full 3.5 years from October
2013 to work with me and the rest of the Chebfun team in areas
related to numerical computation with functions.  The project
may be centered anywhere over a wide range from theory to software
design, with the precise research topic adapted to the successful
applicant's particular strengths and interests.  Candidates must
have an excellent mathematical background and serious commitment
