The network is formed by four Chinese and five UK research groups in the subject area of algebras and representations. There are nine associated European research groups, through the EU AsiaLink programme Algebras and Representations in China and Europe and through a number of other joint activities. The Leverhulme Trust is providing core funding for a period of three years, starting from January 2004. The network's aims are to support research collaboration and postdoctoral training activities.
