Robin W. Knight's Home PageI am a Departmental Lecturer to the Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford, and am a Senior Research Fellow at Worcester College, Oxford. I have two research students, Ben Chad and Gareth Davies, jointly supervised with Dr. P. J. Collins. Research interestsMy research interests cross the borders between General Topology, Set Theory and Logic. Much of my work involves applications of set theory and set-theoretic combinatorics to topology. There are a few samples of my current/recent work on my preprints page. Collaborators:
Lecture coursesIn Michaelmas Term 2003, 2004 and 2006, and Hilary Term 2006, I gave the section c. Analytic Topology course. In 2002, I gave the Axiomatic Set Theory lecture course, which has been given in subsequent years by Prof. Wilkie. Problem sheets etc. can be found by following these links. In Hilary Term 2008, I am giving the section B. Set Theory course. EventsSome (mathematical) events in the future (or recent past).Other stuff |
