Research Interests

My primary research interests include the theory and application of the lattice Boltzmann equation (LBE), fluid mechanics and viscoelasticity. I am currently a research fellow at the Oxford Centre for Collaborative Applied Mathematics (OCCAM) investigating the extension of the LBE to complex (non-Newtonian) fluids. I previously worked on the project "Lattice Boltzmann methods for multiphase flow in porous media with applications to CO2 sequestration" . under the supervision of Paul Dellar, and before that with Helen Wilson on Instabilities in polymer processing, which formed part of the Mupp project.
