Where to stay


If you intend to stay overnight, you will probably be best placed in North Oxford - to minimise travel at the end of the day.

It is important to book accommodation as far in advance as possible since rooms in Oxford are at a real premium during the summer months. This is especially true of the lower-priced options.

    Short-term let apartments can be rented in Oxford, but are quite expensive, unless there are a few people sharing, in which case it can work out cheaper than a B&B. The standard tariff for a two-bedroom/two-bathroom apartment is from £160.00 per night (£40.00 per person per night with 4 guests sharing). However, they also offer special weekend rates for a Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday. The tariff for this in a two bedroom apartment is from £240.00 for both nights (£30.00 per person per night with 4 guests sharing). Rates are per apartment and not per person and are inclusive of U.K. Value Added Tax.
