main research areas lie in nonlinear partial differential equations, nonlinear
analysis, and their applications to other areas of Mathematics and Science.
His recent research interests include nonlinear hyperbolic systems of
conservation laws, nonlinear equations of mixed type, nonlinear waves, free
boundary problems, geometric analysis, and stochastic partial differential
equations. His research interests also include measure-theoretical analysis,
weak convergence methods, entropy analysis, statistical physics, and
numerical analysis. He has published more than 200 original research papers
and more than 10 research books, and has advised more than 35 PhD/DPhil
students and 25 postdoctors. Since 2000, he has
delivered more than 300 invited lectures/talks around the world. He
now serves on the Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) of the London Mathematical
Society (UK, 2020-Present), SIAG/APDE Liaison of SIAM News for the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics
(SIAM) (USA, 2019-Present), and International Scientific
Board of RUDN University (Moscow, Russia, 2018–Present). He was a member of the Organising Committee of
SIAM PDE Webinar Series of SIAM (USA, 2020–23), the Advisory Board of the
Maxwell Institute Graduate School in Analysis & Its Applications (MIGSAA,
Edinburgh, UK, 2014–23),
