James Newton

I am a professor in the Mathematical Institute of the University of Oxford. I am also a tutorial fellow at Merton College.

My research interests are in algebraic number theory, particularly (p-adic) automorphic forms and Galois representations.

I am on the editorial boards of Essential Number Theory, Proceedings of the LMS and the Quarterly Journal of Mathematics.
