I
studied mathematics at The University of Cambridge, prior to a PhD in
Theoretical High Energy Physics, under the direction of Prof John C
Taylor, FRS. I subsequently pursued a Wellcome Trust Post-Doctoral
Fellowship at The Centre for Mathematical Biology Oxford, followed by a
faculty position at The School of Mathematics, University of Birmingham,
before returning to Oxford and the Centre for Mathematical Biology in 2006.
