Glen Wei An Lim

I am a 3rd year DPhil student in Mathematics at the University of Oxford. My supervisors are Christopher Douglas and André Henriques.

Previously, I completed my BA and MMath in Trinity College, Cambridge.

I am broadly interested in topological quantum field theories and higher categories. Thus far, my research has revolved around (extended) TQFTs in lower dimensions and the topological structures which arise from them.

I can be contacted via the contact form on my department webpage or at glen.lim [at] maths.ox.ac.uk.

On my name: the Chinese name "Wei An" is an indivisible unit and, per Singaporean naming conventions, should go after the surname. I use it as a middle name in Western contexts.

Preprints

  1. All once-extended 3D TQFTs are Reshetikhin–Turaev theories. arXiv:2608.26068 [math.GT].
  2. The half-signature extension of the 3D bordism bicategory and its representations. arXiv:2608.25680 [math.GT].
