My participation in olympiads as a high school student played a huge role in kindling my interest in mathematics. Since then, I have volunteered in various roles as a way to give back.
- I was a Coordinator at the International Mathematical Olympiad in 2024 and 2025, and at the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad in 2025 and 2026. This primarily involved the creation of marking schemes and grading of scripts, but also occasionally involved some Chinese-English translation.
- I was one of three trainers of the Singapore National Team in 2019, and accompanied the team as an Observer B to the IMO. I also graded a third of the scripts for all Singaporean high school mathematical olympiads in 2019.
- Since 2026, I have been a member of the SIMO Problems Committee, which is responsible for the evaluation of difficulty and quality of Singaporean problem proposals.
- I have contributed semi-regularly to the (now-dormant) Singapore IMO Retirees' Blog, which is generally pitched at high school students and recent high school graduates who are/were active in olympiads. I am particularly proud of this post on special relativistic techniques in Euclidean geometry.
- I sporadically propose olympiad problems. Past creations:

- As an undergraduate, I was partially responsible for the creation of some knotted dumplings (though not the more complicated ones shown there; Gheehyun's dumpling-making prowess has improved since our undergraduate days).
- Outside of mathematics, I enjoy board games, speculative fiction, musical theatre, and long walks in nature.
