Brief biography

I studied mathematics at the University of Cambridge, prior to a PhD in Theoretical High Energy Physics under the direction of Prof John C. Taylor, FRS.

I subsequently pursued a Wellcome Trust Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Centre for Mathematical Biology, University of Oxford, followed by a faculty position at the School of Mathematics, University of Birmingham, before returning to the University of Oxford and the Centre for Mathematical Biology in 2006.
