I am a Senior Research Fellow of the Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford, a University Research Fellow with the Royal Society, and a Tutorial Fellow of St Hugh's College, Oxford. My research interests lie in aspects of algebra, analysis, combinatorics, geometry and number theory, with particular emphasis on using tools from the former to address problems from the latter.

Since Michaelmas 2013 I have sat on the University of Oxford Mathematics Department Good Practice Steering Group. Anyone interested in matters of good practice in the department is encouraged to get in contact or read more on the website.

Since March 2015 I have been a Harassment Officer in the University of Oxford Mathematics Department. There is another officer, Sarah Waters, and anyone wishing to contact either of us is encouraged to do so. It may also be useful to consult the University's harassment advice page.
